Alex Coleman
Alex hails from the UK and brings his strong sporting background to the practice, having completed a Bachelor of Sport Therapy, certification in Strength and Conditioning and a Masters in Sport and Exercise Medicine, prior to finally undertaking a Masters in Physiotherapy. His passion for physiotherapy and sport rehabilitation started following multiple knee injuries suffered while competing in youth soccer at an elite level.
During his career, Alex has worked in private practices in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and now Australia. He has worked closely with professional, semi-professional and amateur athletes, including heading a professional female football (soccer) club, and both codes of rugby in professional and amateur environments, together with treating the wider population in private physiotherapy practices.
Alex is particularly interested in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, especially that of the knee and ankle complex. Alex draws on his knowledge of sports science, and strength and conditioning to provide clients with individualised programs, aimed to restore pre-injury activity levels and reduce future injuries.
